The Theory of KAOS

The Theory of KAOS is a raw, firsthand account of the rise and fall of Simon Kaos — a Vancouver rock band that ruled the ’80s club scene.

Told from my perspective, it traces my journey from early musical influences to life on stage, in a time before the internet and cell phones — when reputations were built one room, one performance at a time.

It’s a story of momentum.
Of talent, charisma, and a loyal following that opened doors — and the subtle ways those same strengths began to work against us.

This isn’t a polished version of events.
It’s how it actually happened.
